Before You Begin
Preheat and prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
Melt butter or heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant, without browning.
Add pasta, milk, and water. Stir gently to separate noodles.
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Remove from heat. Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until melted and smooth.
Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
