In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, egg, salt, and pepper.

Oven Method
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
Stovetop Method
Cook in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Safe Doneness:
Meatballs are done when the centers reach
160°F (71°C) for beef
165°F (74°C) for poultry versions
Centers should be fully cooked with no pink remaining.
Prepare Sauce
In a saucepan, combine sweet chili sauce, pineapple, soy sauce, and vinegar.
Heat on low for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until warmed and smooth.
Combine
Add cooked meatballs to the sauce.
Simmer gently on low heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until evenly coated and heated through.
Serve
Serve warm over rice, noodles, or as an appetizer with garnishes if desired.
