  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 packets milk-chocolate hot cocoa mix

  • Green food coloring
  • cups whipped topping or whipped cream
  • Topping
  • Whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Green sprinkles

Method

  1. Before You Begin
  2. Prepare your ingredients and tools as needed. Results may vary depending on your ingredients. Wash and dry all produce thoroughly. Do not leave prepared food at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
  3. Make Crust
  4. Combine crushed cookies and melted butter. Press firmly into a 9×13-inch dish. Refrigerate while preparing next layer.
  5. Chocolate Layer
  6. Beat butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Mix in cocoa powder and hot cocoa mix.
  8. Fold in whipped topping.
  9. Spread evenly over crust and refrigerate briefly to firm.
  10. Mint Layer
  11. Whisk pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  12. Fold in whipped topping, mint extract, and food coloring.
  13. Spread gently over chocolate layer.
  14. Chill
  15. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until layers are firm enough to slice cleanly.
  16. Serve
  17. Add whipped cream, cherries, and sprinkles before slicing. Slice with a warm knife for neat edges.

Notes

  • Chill layers between steps to keep structure stable and prevent mixing.
  • Use softened cream cheese for smooth blending and even texture.
  • Mix pudding only until thickened to avoid thinning.
  • Briefly chilling before slicing improves clean cuts and stability.
  • Keep dessert refrigerated except during serving; do not leave out longer than 2 hours.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator up to 4 days or freeze up to 2 months (without toppings).
