Before You Begin
Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients. Ensure your oven is fully preheated and your loaf pan is greased before starting.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with orange juice and zest. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fold in cranberries gently.
Transfer batter evenly into prepared pan.
Bake about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack and cool completely.
Stir glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle over cooled bread.
