Ingredients

  • 2 garlic flatbreads
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Method

  1. Before You Begin
  2. Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
  3. Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C). Place a baking sheet inside the oven to heat.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Warm gently until fluid, then set aside.
  5. Place the flatbreads on parchment paper. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over each flatbread.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then add pepperoni on top.
  7. Transfer the flatbreads to the hot baking sheet and bake until the cheese is melted, the edges are golden, and the flatbread is heated through and crisp on the bottom.
  8. Remove from the oven, drizzle generously with hot honey, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

• Preheating the baking sheet helps the flatbread base crisp quickly.

• Use a light layer of sauce and toppings to prevent sogginess.

• Adjust hot honey gradually to control sweetness and heat.
• Store leftover slices in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 2 days.

• Reheat in a 350°F oven for about 5–7 minutes until hot and crisp. Avoid microwaving, which softens the crust.
