Method
- Before You Begin
- Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C). Place a baking sheet inside the oven to heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Warm gently until fluid, then set aside.
- Place the flatbreads on parchment paper. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over each flatbread.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then add pepperoni on top.
- Transfer the flatbreads to the hot baking sheet and bake until the cheese is melted, the edges are golden, and the flatbread is heated through and crisp on the bottom.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle generously with hot honey, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
• Preheating the baking sheet helps the flatbread base crisp quickly.
• Use a light layer of sauce and toppings to prevent sogginess.
• Adjust hot honey gradually to control sweetness and heat. • Store leftover slices in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 2 days.
• Reheat in a 350°F oven for about 5–7 minutes until hot and crisp. Avoid microwaving, which softens the crust.
