Before You Begin
Preheat and prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
Pat chicken dry and season evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear chicken 3–5 minutes per side until lightly golden.
In a bowl, whisk Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, garlic, and water until smooth.
Reduce heat to medium-low and pour sauce into skillet around chicken.
Cover and simmer gently 8–12 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and sauce thickens slightly.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over chicken.
Cover again and cook 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.
Remove from heat and let rest 3 minutes before serving.
Garnish if desired and serve warm.
