  • Honey Garlic Butter Glaze
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • cup honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • For Serving
  • Fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Before You Begin
  2. Preheat and prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with foil or parchment.
  4. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Stir in honey, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Pat salmon fillets dry. Season with salt and pepper. Place in the baking dish.
  6. Pour the warm glaze over salmon. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until the thickest part reaches 145°F (63°C) and flakes easily.
  7. Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning, as broilers vary in intensity.
  8. Spoon extra pan sauce over the salmon and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
  9. Cooking Notes
  10. Oven temperature: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for even cooking and a tender texture.
  11. Cook time: Salmon typically bakes in 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness.
  12. Doneness check: Salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part.
  13. Broiling option: For added caramelization, broil briefly at the end while watching closely, as broilers vary in intensity.
  14. Glaze consistency: The honey garlic butter sauce should be smooth and glossy before pouring over the salmon.
  15. Equipment note: Cooking times and results may vary based on oven performance, pan material, and salmon thickness.
