Before You Begin
Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Asparagus
Trim woody ends and pat spears completely dry to ensure proper roasting.
Season
Place asparagus on baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat evenly.
Roast
Spread in a single layer. Roast 10–15 minutes until spears are bright green, lightly browned at tips, and fork-tender.
Serve
Remove from oven and add optional toppings if desired. Serve immediately for best texture.
