Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Method
 

  1. Before You Begin
  2. Preheat and prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
  3. Pat shrimp completely dry using paper towels.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add garlic and cook about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
  6. Add shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink, opaque, lightly curled, and reach 145°F (63°C).
  8. Remove from heat, stir in parsley, and serve immediately with lemon if desired.

Notes

  • Pat shrimp dry and cook in a single layer for best browning.
  • Remove from heat as soon as opaque to avoid overcooking.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently over low heat until warmed through.
