  • 8 oz short pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (alcohol-free)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (alcohol-free)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste

Method

  8. Whisk in milk gradually and cook about 3–5 minutes, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens slightly and becomes smooth.
  9. Add Cheese
  10. Stir in seasonings and cheese until melted and smooth.
  11. Combine
  12. Toss pasta and broccoli with the sauce, adjusting with pasta water if needed.
  13. Serve
  14. Taste and serve warm.
