Before You Begin
Prepare your slow cooker and ingredients as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper. If using cornstarch, toss chicken to coat evenly.
In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds until smooth.
Place chicken into slow cooker and pour sauce evenly over top.
Cover and cook until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally and is tender:
LOW: about 4 hours
HIGH: about 2 hours
Stir gently to coat chicken in sauce.
Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
Let rest 3 minutes before serving.
