Before You Begin
Preheat and prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
Wash potatoes thoroughly and cut into evenly sized wedges.
Place wedges in cold water and soak 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch.
Drain and pat wedges completely dry with paper towels.
Toss wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange wedges in a single layer and cook 15–18 minutes, shaking halfway, until crisp outside and fork-tender inside.
Sprinkle cheese over wedges during last 2–3 minutes and cook until melted and bubbling.
Remove and serve warm.
