- Pat chicken dry and season on both sides.
- Heat butter and oil in an oven-safe skillet.
- Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Whisk ranch mix, broth, cream, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Pour sauce over chicken and bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally, is no longer pink in the center, and is hot throughout. Cooking time may vary depending on thickness. Allow to rest briefly before serving.
- Rest 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.

- Season and sear chicken in butter and oil.
- Whisk ranch ingredients until smooth.
- Pour sauce over chicken and reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 15–20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally and is hot throughout.
- Thicken sauce if needed, then return chicken and coat.
