Ingredients

  • 1 box (18 oz) brownie mix
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Method

  1. Before You Begin:
  2. Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
  3. Preheat the Oven
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Mix the Dough
  6. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix and flour. Add the eggs and vegetable oil. Stir until a thick, glossy dough forms.
  7. Add Mix-Ins (Optional)
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips or other mix-ins if using.
  9. Shape the Cookies
  10. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Gently flatten each portion slightly for even baking.
  11. Bake
  12. Bake for about 8–10 minutes, until the edges are set and the tops show a crackled texture while the centers still appear slightly soft.
  13. Cool
  14. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  15. Serve
  16. Serve once cooled, or enjoy slightly warm for a softer, fudgier texture.

Notes

• Slightly underbake cookies for the fudgiest centers.
• Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and encourage even baking.
• Rotate the baking sheet if cookies brown unevenly.
Storage
• Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 4 days.
• Freeze baked cookies up to 3 months.
Reheating
• Warm briefly in the microwave or oven until soft.
