Ingredients
Method
- Before You Begin:
- Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
- Preheat the Oven
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the Dough
- In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix and flour. Add the eggs and vegetable oil. Stir until a thick, glossy dough forms.
- Add Mix-Ins (Optional)
- Fold in the chocolate chips or other mix-ins if using.
- Shape the Cookies
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Gently flatten each portion slightly for even baking.
- Bake
- Bake for about 8–10 minutes, until the edges are set and the tops show a crackled texture while the centers still appear slightly soft.
- Cool
- Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve
- Serve once cooled, or enjoy slightly warm for a softer, fudgier texture.
Notes
• Slightly underbake cookies for the fudgiest centers.
• Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and encourage even baking.
• Rotate the baking sheet if cookies brown unevenly.
Storage
• Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 4 days.
• Freeze baked cookies up to 3 months.
Reheating
• Warm briefly in the microwave or oven until soft.
