Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp dried tarragon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 flatbreads naan or pita
  • ½ cup alcohol-free BBQ sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 small red bell pepper chopped
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • Optional: cilantro Parmesan, red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Before You Begin:
  2. Preheat your oven and prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredient thickness. Always cook chicken to 165°F (74°C) and rest before dicing.
  3. Season chicken with olive oil, oregano, tarragon, and salt.
  4. Cook 8–10 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Rest 5 minutes, then dice.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet. Brush with BBQ sauce and sprinkle garlic.
  7. Add mozzarella, chicken, bell pepper, and onion.
  8. Bake 10–15 minutes until cheese melts and edges crisp.
  9. Garnish, slice, and serve warm.
