Before You Begin
Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until fully browned and no pink remains. Drain excess grease.
Stir in barbecue sauce and cook briefly until evenly coated and heated through.
Spread half the tortilla chips on a baking sheet. Top with half the cheese, half the beef mixture, and half the bacon.
Repeat layering with remaining chips, cheese, beef, and bacon.
Drizzle barbecue sauce evenly over the top.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, the toppings are heated through, and the chips are lightly crisp at the edges.
Remove from oven and add fresh toppings as desired.
Serve immediately while hot and crisp.
