BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Nachos

Sheet pan nachos loaded with classic bacon cheeseburger flavors, baked until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through. Ideal for parties, game nights, or casual family meals.

Ingredients
  

  • For the Nachos
  • 1 large bag tortilla chips
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ small onion, diced
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • cup barbecue sauce (for beef mixture)
  • cup barbecue sauce, (for drizzling)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional Toppings (Add After Baking)
  • Chopped green onions
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Pickled jalapeños
  • Sour cream or ranch
  • Guacamole

Method
 

  1. Before You Begin
  2. Prepare your cookware as needed. Cooking times and results may vary depending on your equipment and ingredients.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until fully browned and no pink remains. Drain excess grease.
  5. Stir in barbecue sauce and cook briefly until evenly coated and heated through.
  6. Spread half the tortilla chips on a baking sheet. Top with half the cheese, half the beef mixture, and half the bacon.
  7. Repeat layering with remaining chips, cheese, beef, and bacon.
  8. Drizzle barbecue sauce evenly over the top.
  9. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, the toppings are heated through, and the chips are lightly crisp at the edges.
  10. Remove from oven and add fresh toppings as desired.
  11. Serve immediately while hot and crisp.

Notes

  • Cook ground beef until fully browned with no visible pink remaining (160°F / 71°C).
  • Drain excess grease to prevent soggy chips.
  • Layer chips and toppings evenly for consistent coverage.
  • Bake only until cheese is melted and chips are lightly crisp at the edges.
  • Add fresh toppings after baking to maintain texture.
  • Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in oven or air fryer until heated through (165°F / 74°C).
  • Discard if odor, texture, or appearance changes.
