Step 1 — Preparation
Drain canned salmon well and chop celery finely.
Step 2 — Flake the Salmon
Place salmon in a bowl and gently break into medium flakes.
Step 3 — Add the Dressing Base
Stir in mayonnaise or Greek yogurt gradually until creamy.
Step 4 — Add Lemon & Celery
Mix in lemon juice, celery, and black pepper.
Stir gently to avoid mashing the salmon.
Step 5 — Chill (Optional)
Refrigerate 20–30 minutes to help flavors blend and firm texture.

This is a no-cook recipe. Prep takes about 10 minutes from start to finish. For best texture, gently flake the salmon and mix just until combined. Chilling the salad for 20–30 minutes is optional and helps the flavors settle, but it can be served immediately.
